Gotta say it, but it'z frigging ace to see people like Daniele and Paul Blittz show up here on Glitzinet! And az for a LOTTI reunion, holy fuck yes!!! Now... if only we could get this Wrathchild reunion going and also Soho Roses there too and that would make my fucking life! All three of thoze bandz on the same bill and i'm in fucking heaven!:>
Daniele, i got your email mate and cheerz!! I'll reply back tomorrow, more email probz again which meanz i'm having trouble repling to the fuckerz:<

Why does this board seem to be picking up again all of a sudden??
-
Who cares Jay? Just be happy that it is, and that people such as Blittz and Daniele are coming along to have this happen.
Yeah, if LOTTI did do a reunion, I might actually think of getting a plane ticket! As for if it will ever go beyond a thought process, I doubt it, btu I would seriously consider it! Still one of the 5 greatest albums ever recorded.
Wrathchild will more than likely never happen though. Sadly.

Carl - the album was good, but it was FAR too keyboardy. They were so much better live. I have a tape somewhere...
-
Ach, what do you know?
Yeah, it's quite keyboardy, but not all of us were cool enough to be in the UK back then. I think that even though the keys are there, and up front, the songs and the fun still comes RAGING through that dang album. And I'm sorry, but even if WHAM! had "Gina" on their album, I would have to lable that as one of the greatest albums of all time. You write a song as fucking brilliant as that one, then you get the "Greatest Album" honor no matter what!
-
Yeah, fair play, "Gina" IS a great song. The only Babysitters song to survive into the Idols era, in fact. Have you heard the Idols demo?
-
Dang if LOTTI & Soho Roses reformed man I'd be another one there. Have seen both myself but Andii & Carl I'd see ya there for sure.
-
Forgot to mention great to see Daniele and Paul blitz here. Welcome guys.

Holy Cow what a great read this thread was! A friend lived in London back then, but me and most of my mates lived up north. We went to London to see Soho Roses - what a blast! We used to travel to Hull, Bradford etc. to see LOTTI too - there was loads of us one night stayed at a friends flat in Hull (inc. LOTTI). Man we all drank too much Thunderbird...
If there's ever a gig by Soho Roses or LOTTI I'll be there for sure...
-
Now Thunderbird... i drank gallonz of that fucking stuff back in the day.
